It’s easy to miss the point here. The question isn’t: should you physically discipline your child and was he in the right for doing so. The real question is: how can you expect your child to grow up disciplined and principled if you yourself and society around you is so undisciplined? The real moral of the story, at least for me, is for society and parents to raise their children by example.
