Less than a minute in, and I’m crying my heart out! My daughter went to college, AND grad school, and when she got out, it wasn’t easy to find a job in her field. She was a nanny prior to college, so she took a nanny position ‘in the meantime’. But when she met the two babies that she was to care for, (two friends each had a baby—a boy and a girl), she instantly fell in love! She cares for those children as if they were her own. And every single day, she plans activities and crafts for them, takes them to the zoo, or places like ‘Build-a-Bear’, taught them to use the potty, works on fine motor skills, and if they have medical issues, she focuses on them. And in the five years she’s been with them, her two babies grew to four friends and SEVEN babies! (Not all at the same time.) And she’s the ‘Mama Bear’. When one of the friends moved out of state, with her ‘original’ baby girl, she cried her heart out! And so did that little girl! (It broke MY heart!) They missed each other so much. But the family travels here every so often, so the both my daughter and their daughter could visit each other. My daughter also sends her cards and gifts. THAT is what a nanny should be. A person who puts those children first, and is the ‘surrogate’ parent while their moms and dads are at work, or otherwise unavailable. (This is the same love I’ve always shown my children.) But THIS??? Grabbing that child by the head is as bad as hanging from a noose! She should be charged with attempted murder. She should’ve NEVER been near a child… not her own, OR someone else’s! These babies are helpless and rely their caregivers for everything. This hurts my heart so badly!!! Those poor babies!!! And those poor parents!!! They need to throw the book at that heartless demon.
