I died when he pulled out a bootleg copy of Avatar 😂😂 but really though the mission is such a surreal experience. You grow up your whole life being told that it’s every capable priesthood holders duty to serve a mission, but after having served I believe every priesthood holder should do it if capable, but it’s definitely not for everyone. I cherish my mission, but there was guys that I served with that really should have gone home. The stress and homesickness which turns to anxiety, the depression, the feelings of inadequacy, the guilt, etc we’re too much for some to handle so they dreaded and hated every second of it. Trapped for two years in a place they don’t want to be from social and familial pressures to “serve an HONORABLE full time mission.”
