I think this and other troubling issues with adult performers should be highlighted. These people should know they are not alone with whatever struggles they are encountering. They are human beings that go through great heights and pitfalls just like all of the human race. The suicide, drug and legal issues (like arrests for money laundering and drug trafficking) can be curtailed if the big players and studios in the industry come together and form a non-profit mental health group. There is a mandatory testing for STDs, there should be mandatory testing for drugs, alcohol abuse and mental stability. Weed out the people who are looking to get into this business that don't have the mental capacity to handle this type of work. Provide counseling to people presently performing and to people looking to leave for other endeavors. Lastly, the actors themselves can be a support system for others that are in trouble. Take away the competion between stars and come together (no pun intended :-) to be one united front. Be a good listener to a colleague that might be hurting. Empathy to your fellow man/woman/trans can go a long way. All the best!!
