The main villain of Dragon Knight has a significantly different goal than that of Ryuki, and the main characters have different reasons for Contracting with Dragreder to become the titular Advent Rider (Shinji does it to get more information on the disappearances for his job as a journalist, while Kit is trying to find his missing father).

Fellas, if you got the dime and do not mind spending it, if those sorts of materialistic, hyper competitive females are what you are into and want, fine. Go for it. Just know what you are getting into. Do your research. But, if you aren't willing to spend the dime on the first date and more believe the line of a drink is more than enough for a first date as you get to know her a bit, that is also fine.
