My third point is that Blizzard aren't necessarily working on the diablo mobile game all that much as it seems like that's mostly being outsourced to a chinese company that already was in the business of making Diablo like games on mobile phones (although i'm sure Blizzard have some oversight on the project). My fourth point is that the way blizzard set up their presentation part of their event (which i believe was on the first day) they specifically left Diablo for last and made it seem like there was a massive announcement of some sort in relation to that franchise, further increasing fan expectations which were already high from the diablo 4 rumors. All of these factors combined (and quite possibly more) lead to the fan reaction that we saw. Sure some people overreacted. I won't deny that for a second. There are crazy fans out there who got disproportionately mad or angry. And people getting their hopes up because of the Diablo 4 rumors is definitely also the fans setting themselves up for dissapointment and getting angry over rumors not being true is a pretty stupid thing to do. But the overall sentiment of dissapointment and frustration and dissatisfaction is completly warranted in my opinion. Acting like a complete lunatic however, obviously isn't warranted. I think these details are important to understand the context of what actually happened at blizzcon.

That is horribly messed up that they did this and they thought it was in God’s best interest. But it is not. Torturing, beating, and starving people is not a way to show the way to God. They have no right to judge someone’s soul. That judgement and right is to God and God alone. It makes me sick that people would and still do this while using the name of God. That is not God’s true followers. I’m happy that Arthur and the Knights saved who they could.
