The soul mirrors God in a way who is the beginning and the end. This is why we can truly recieve Him and become holy. Holiness is then, as you say, a human being fully alive. What I call for, with my miniscule voice is a sincere study of love. This should distinguish what is beneficial love and the affects it has. The study should be done in all social sciences, those that involve humanity. Love is the most central and celebrated aspect of human experience. It is astounding that science, with a sincere desire to bring understanding of humanity to humanity, has not taken love up as a central focus. All cultures and persons made less organized and less sophisticated studies of love, but science has so far left it out. It could be that scientists often are less emotional people and believe that emotion is contrary to objectivity, but I think that well ordered emotion is a necessary part of all objective thought. I digress, but I am certain that a comprehensive study of love and its affects/effects will support much truth in religion and also help humanity understand itself. It may even become one of the best tools for evangelization for it could give scientists the real grip they need to face Christianity and meet it in and with shared truth. How could science have avoided studying such a central topic? More than half of art and human culture involves love. It is a strange self imposed ignorance.
