hi brad i have a unique situation and i would love some help. basically my boyfriend and i dated for over a year and i broke up w him at the end bc of all the fighting. he tried twice to get back with me the week of the breakup and i said no and we came to the agreement of let’s say friends. fast forward 2 months (which is today) and now i miss him so much. i regret not taking him back and he was genuinely a great guy that i want to take back. i contacted him a couple weeks ago and he listened but told me it’s too late and for me to move on. (he was also weirded out that after 2 months of not talking much i just suddenly reach out to him. he rather questioned my motives and tried to not get too close. i’m afraid this will happen when i try the no contact..) he still wants to stay friends however and makes an effort to be my friend. he still cares ab me as a person and is nice to me. i want him back as my boyfriend however so i watched some of your videos as well as looked up some things online. i don’t think my ex lost 100% of his feelings but rather thinks it won’t work out if we get back together and is afraid to get hurt. in other words i don’t think he’s emotionally over me but logically thinks it won’t work out. that’s why he keeps saying it’ll be easier if we’re friends. the first step i need to take seems to be the “no contact” thing. would this still work for me? i feel like he only sees me as a friend now and he’ll rather forget me during that period of no contact and meet someone else. what would be the best thing for me to do (besides moving on) to get him back and start dating again?
