would have tried tough love I wouldn’t be here. Please tell your child you love them don’t ever hang up the phone without those 3 words, I know it’s hard, but it’s harder without them here. My son never touched a drug until he was 22 and he didn’t even take an illegal drug, he was prescribed them by a doctor!!!! Some doctors are your biggest drug dealers, people you trust. What isn’t told is those doctors get paid a bonus at the end of the year for pushing a medication that the pharmaceutical companies want pushed, It’s money over the lives of our children. I sent my son to treatment, to the top treatment centers ( I thought ) the only thing they did was put him on a benzodiazepine so they could collect his insurance money. The insurance won’t pay for any other detox right away unless it’s an alcohol/ or Benzodiazepine withdrawal, those 2 with drawls r the only ones that can cause death, and that was my Joeys cause. All the medications these treatment centers had him on weakened a football players heart. Joey, left me videos and recordings of the treatment centers owners and doctors, doing unethical things. 6 treatment center owners are in prison 3 more are waiting for sentencing. I am telling Joeys story which I don’t do anymore, so that maybe 1 parent can see, even when they try to get help 9/10 treatment centers make it worse. Research EVERYTHING, most treatment centers are run by doctors who have no idea about addiction, some are dentist ONGYN. Find out who owns the treatment center ( the doctor ) and look him up before sending your child. My son fought so hard, he wrote a letter I found after he left this world, explaining what he felt everyday, He said as much as I want him to get his life back He wanted that 100xs more. Sending prayers to all these before children
