I think the real issue is that many pornstars are also sex workers. I think the more correct issue here is that sex workers have a high suicide rate; we just don't see or notice sex workers because they are not as exposed or publicly available as pornstars. I think the feeling of being objectified and overlooked as a human is something both classes, and even as a former stripper myself, understand all too well. It's detrimental to the mental state to constantly question our self worth because of our clientele or customers comments. I think its also so emotionally taxing to invest or involve one's self into sex working to provide something emotionally or physically but receive the empty feeling in return. Most do it for the money. Some enjoy It, but many it can take a toll. Sometimes a toll too high.
