Reading some of these comments explain why there are so many neglected horses throughout the US. Not every stallion born needs to breed and make more unwanted backyard bred crosses, who's lives are doomed from the beginning. Not only are most of them kept in an environment that's harmful to their health, but they are malnourished, their owners can't afford proper tack that actually fits, or Veterinarian care such as vaccinations, wormers, floating of teeth and / or farriers. Not speaking of the thousands of horses starved each winter for lack of funds from owners for simple hay. Horse lovers won't let their horses go through this. Horse lovers understand, that it is cruel to keep them stallions, if breeding is not intended. These stallions are usually kept away from the herd, can't come out to socialize with other horses, which is so important to their overall health and happiness, and they have severe stress from seeing mares in heat but can't breed. They can smell mares in heat for hundreds of miles. It speaks of great ignorance and a total lack of proper horse ownership to make them suffer simply because you think (and I'm only quoting someone who commented that below!) Poor N** was captured, had his balls cut off..... Ridiculous to even write that! 

I am Czech and it was a great honor to watch our team do some cool stuff. People should know, that there is a total of 22 teams in the entire country (There are 239 ice hockey teams and 486 soccer teams) and this sport is very, VERY minor. It has basically no funding from the state at all, if you don't count building the playfield. It survived through the soviet era only thanks to Cuba. Since the sport was viewed as highly imperial they banned it for a while. But one of the coaches at that that time saw a title in newspaper that Cuba played some world cup or whatever. So He personaly went to the f*cking soviet politburo and showed it to them, that our friendly socialist coutry is playing the sport too. So they made it legal again.

I lived in this hole from 62 to 82, was my hometown. After I left I only went back for funerals. I lived 2 blocks off Ridgewood, near Mason.
