Yeah you act like we don't already praise good behavior and encourage positive actions and self control. The problem with ADHD is that you praise the good behavior, and they're already 5 steps ahead of you doing something they shouldn't be doing. I've struggled so hard with this 'positive approach' for as long as I can remember, and my kid still suffers. I'm trying medication, even though I hate to do it, and I know it'll take adjustment. But these 'studies' need to stop acting like parents with adhd kids are lazy or doing praise their kids enough.

Anyone that would have laughed at someone for the trauma of a shooting are not only immature, they are actually less than caring people. The other teenagers that were close to the shooting were dealing with the same stress in their own ways, and everyone of them may have caused actions that normally people think are weird or dorky. The movie didn't really show the dorky actions of others though, but more serious actions, such as one getting drunk and high all the time to hide the pain, one trying to raise awareness and stop the guns going to schools, and one was just being there for her even though itwas his brother that died. Honestly, I wonder what he was going through, and I wonder what her little sister was going through, since they did show that she blamed herself for her sister's traumatic event.
