Dearest LORD Jesus please give us a love for you like meat loves SALT. A love that purifies us as you sanctifies us and in YOU alone preserves us for yourself. Please help us to listen, hear than understand and then follow you with the right heart motives. - Besides the Fandom world I saw things that were needed in the real world and saw tons of amazing LGBT Pride accounts that I LOVED and I'm not even in the LGBT+ community lol. It was just awesome to see the support and tips. Eventually, because Tumblr has a blog for anything I saw a Straight Pride account....and I fell in love with it. It had everything. Suggestions on how to ask someone out, tips and tricks to meeting others and not being so overwhelmed, fashion tips for EVERYONE, hygiene product suggestions....uhg it was everything I ever wanted. And it actually felt like a community. People chimed in and helped, people asked questions, people were just supportive and open and loving. I knew hardly anything about myself let alone guys! This blog and all the asks and links encouraged me to learn more about my body and my mind. The woman who ran the account always preached a When you know and love yourself, you are ready to know and be loved by an other and that hit me in the heart.....then the toxicity hit the page. I didn't see a reason why we couldn't have LGBT Pride accounts AND Straight pride accounts. Everyone needs a community, everyone should be proud of who they are and love themselves. But then the account was bombarded with hate messages (I'm sure they've received them long before I joined but this was my first time witnessing this) like what is there to proud of in being STRAIGHT? Nothing. Why would you do this? Pride is for the LGBT community and minorities. And more comments that I would like to say were Trolls but probably weren't. It was my first time seeing that a part of the LGBT community didn't like nonLGBT pages (but this wasn't my last time seeing this type of ONLY LGBT ALLOWED stuff on Tumblr). The attack disheartened me. There are young NONlgbt teens out there that need guidance too. I MEAN IT'S 2018, everyone should be allowed to be who they are and seek help/guidance for it... majority or minority. Eventually I guess the messages became to much for the lady running the blog and she wrote us a very long (very lovely) good bye. Long message short: my intentions were only to help people who were like me not hinder people who are different. It was great having this account for the while that I did and I hope I helped a few people but I'm deleting this account. I was SO. DANG. SAD. This was my first time seeing someone run off of their OWN PAGE. From then Tumblr was never the same for me.
