I'm 17 I've had 22 major surgeries, years of speech therapy as a kid had a few teeth pulled 3 bones grafts but it never defined me I was a bigger kid growing up never had the option to feel pain physically and emotionally it numbed me it really did I've snapped my arm and didn't realize for a month untill I broke it again mowing a lawn I'm not joking my pain tolerance was destroyed from all the surgery's but I always tried being the funny kid and anyone who tried picking on me ended up getting beat up but my humor saved me it gave me a good group of friends I was always the popular kid in school everyone wanted to be my friend and hang around me I've probably had 15 real best friends that I explained the scare too, but don't let it hold you back I remember thinking as a kid that id never be strong and my life would be defined because I looked different, but I rember it all as the best experience of my life I kissed probably 100 girls in the span of middle school then started dating the first year of highschool I never once though women would find me attractive but a mix of personality, and overcoming anxiety and a lot of hours put into shaping my jaw and body I started to look better by the year, I'm 17 now gotta great smile and a scare that is almost invisible so thank you to all the doctors and dentist that helped me, stay strong because my story proves that a defect can't hold you back if you don't let it, just always have a love for helping people and you can truly do anything so yeah that's my story if you read it I hope it helps you and inspires you to be the person you want to be and not the person you think you are.
