One day we just got sick of being broke and went total scorched earth and became frugal overnight. Paid it all off, it took almost 5 years but now we have no debt and this year our savings rate is 50% on basically the same income that had us perpetually broke. I love how Rachel Bloom said this song manages to be feminist and anti-feminist at the same time. I love how it feels like there's some freedom in women getting to call men out on awful shit, while it also mocks how it's part of straight culture for women to generalize about men like this, almost as a ritual to make them feel better. It mocks hypocrisy but is also so extremely over the top that it's sort of a celebration to just letting go and being judgy with your friends over a glass of wine sometimes. It's also extremely catchy and fun, and the performance is perfectly executed. It's just perfect.
