But I don’t find it honest, and I have to be honest. There is no glamour here. Most of them look rough. Unkempt, skin with sores, hands rough and hardened by life. This is no way a judgement of their character or who they are as people. As an addict myself, I have zero room to judge, and little desire to do so. But I fail them if I overlook how the reality of their situations have aged and hardened them.
