My parents always told me that it was normal to have sex and that when I did, to make sure it was with someone I trusted and cared about. They also told me to go to them if I needed birth control or condoms. As a result, I waited until way later than my peers to have sex, because I was always taught it was normal, whereas everyone else thought they were being rebellious and grown up. Also, my Dad grew up in the 60s, and I asked him if our generation has more sex than his and he laughed. He said that it was probably just as much, but people were under more pressure to hide it.

Local Alaskan here- if you guys want to ride the train, but don't want a 12 hour trip, I highly recommend taking the train from Anchorage to Seward. Seward is a lovely small town with the Sealife Center, glacier cruises, etc. It's a 4-5 hour train trip & you'll still get lovely views

Strange take: The song Cigarette Wife gives Elster a stronger and more sincere Doom Slayer vibe than any other game, even DOOM or ULTRAKILL (also written in all caps like SIGNALIS, coincidence??!! yeah, pareidolia. Anyhow.). The pure, unbridled focus reflected in her emotional analysis thing in the inventory, almost always in the absolute center with unshakable determination, is reflected perfectly as this song comes up in her stonefaced decent to the mines. And only at the very end, at The Promise, the ending for which you literally have to rip and tear the cycle and world within apart, we not only finally see her display the emotions of fear, uncertainty, acceptance and pure horror come out before and as she kills her, emotions we also see in other endings. We too see the slightest, most sincere and true smile as not just Elster dies, but as they get to die together. One we don't ever see in memory, leave or other ends or parts of the game. She has fought through a version of hell more real and relatable than that of DOOM, ULTRAKILL or other such games and depictions, all to truly, and my god I should become a poet, slay the doom and have a happy ending together, one they seemingly were destined by all odds not to have. Not to mention that the title Cigarette Wife is also very fitting, the wife, Elster, burning herself up just to give her lover that final relieve.
