Born in pretty much raised in most of southern New Hampshire. Hollis small town most city people move to. It’s night and day from when I grew up worked for the town for 10 years. Got sick of the politics and got away from it. I lived in Brookline for nine years. With a roommate taxes are very expensive. And some of the neighbors like to put in on your personal business. I lived in different parts of Nashua the apartment complexes are not very well-maintained. Overpriced for the area can be limited parking. Also avoid all the tree streets in Nashua. Can be a very rough area along with French Hill ! Lived in Hudson for a number of years. And graduated from their high school in middle school. Hudson‘s a nice town sadly with union in the school district. Their union is very lazy and do not maintain scruples well. Lived in Londonderry also very expensive nice schools. One of those towns it’s all about what you own not who you are. I lived in Derry another small town. Can be extremely busy used to be affordable. No very expensive for their apartments. Lived in Exeter for a few years also very expensive. The townies definitely all know each other in but in on your personal business. Dog officer in town grew up with my neighbors. They enjoy complaining about rescue dogs that we have Barking. Even though they have dogs themselves and they bark that’s what dogs do. A lot of entitlement in this town spilling over to the neighboring towns. People seem to always be in a rush and will push you off the road. Even to try and turn into your driveway or a parking lot can be interesting. Anybody moving here needs to read the fine print in every town. Sad thing your neighbors confide in on the dumbest things. Make a complaint in cause you to have to go to courts. Or have to pay a fine when I lived in Brookline. A neighbor had a farm with animals. People would complain about the smell and a small business on property. Grew up in an agricultural school didn’t bother me much. You get used to the smell of animal waste. Any city people need to realize it’s the country can’t complain about everything. Also if you have a bonfire you have it for a reason. You have a permit and they don’t need to call and bother the fire departments. We had a family from New York on a farm I worked in Pepperell Mass . Call the fire department just about every time. Claiming a fire was out of control in the middle of a field. With them multiple acres away they continued to budding in on agriculture. Anybody moving to the State leave your uptight politics where you came from. We are country we enjoy The outdoors in the lifestyle it brings. May be a second residence for you. But this is our home and we have a right to live free.
