My nonbinary partner sent me this, they were worried it might be a little too much I think, but doesn’t seem much different from family guy or robot chicken esque satire. Definitely know I’m not the only trans guy who was fxcking Obsessed with gen 1 transformers as a little kid. Not just because they’re peak male performance, but also because as an autistic person I felt like I could relate to them more as well, because I related to robots and aliens a lot as a child. My favorite characters were Megatron and Optimus Prime and Soundwave. I liked Megatron because he looked cool and I usually had crushes on mean scary people back then. I liked Optimus because he had supportive dad vibes. I liked Soundwave because he sounds cool. I was really pissed off when they killed Optimus Prime and replaced him with Rodimus and replaced Megatron with Galvatron. As a child I took that very very personally and never forgot that. As an adult now I don’t care so much. I can enjoy some absurdist satire surrealism now and again. Pretty sure a lot of people would be attracted to Megatron weather or not they have breasts or were a man or a woman, either way people will always find the transformers attractive, because all main character transformers are just awesome. This sketch reminds me of a fanfiction someone wrote where wheeljack invented a dildo after observing some humans in the act and it completely changes the course of the war, and ends the war. Ha! Also usually it’s the Terfs who have an issue with transformers not any trans guys I know. Especially since after gen 1 there’s plenty of good female representation, the terfs just don’t like deep diving into the fandoms they arbitrarily target. Only feminist I knew who hated transformers g1 was a terf so I’m definitely biased there. ❤
